As some of you have seen,
Ibrahim Coyle ended its run.
The original idea was to upload everything I had up to this point and to see if I would manage to crack somewhere around 100 subs (either here, on
Webtoons or
Tapas), which would allow me to continue making future stories. No such case, unfortunately. I feel that the comic underperformed and so have I. Then again, it's not all too bad having
two books (close to 400 pages) behind when you call it quits. Not to mention the fanart from other peers, something I still can't believe happened. I'm still gonna be optimistic and call this a
hiatus rather than an ending. There were plans for
about 4 more books, each a different genre from the last one and the third one was already written and ready to go, so hopefully this won't be the last you see from Ibrahim Coyle. Huge props Nikola and Ivan for supporting me every step of the way and a huge thanks to you guys who were following and commenting this whole time.
I'm not done with comics yet. Even though
PAVID-19 was a one-shot and
COUNTDOWN is an old work put on a hiatus until I properly translate it and map out future episodes, I do have some new original concepts in my drawer. Doubt I'll post any blog entries in the near future, but if you want to keep in touch and want to follow my whole process on creating new stuff, concept art, planning and behind the scenes videos, etc., there's always the
'Sup dawg newsletter
(I swear, I made a Substack profile before the whole thing went viral).
Hopefully you'll get to follow some of my future work, as I continue to follow yours.
All the best and all the thanks',
Filip
